Our second stay at Tara's Lodge was a mix of highs and lows. We craved a getaway beyond the ordinary, and the location did not fail our expectations. The breathtaking views of the Adriatic Sea from our balcony left us speechless, a true masterpiece that resonated with my architectural love for coastal landscapes. The small, quiet cove with crystal-clear waters was a haven for my family, especially my kids. The private beach, away from the town's bustle, provided a safe and peaceful play area for the little ones.The family-friendly amenities were a hit with us. From the inclusive sea kayaking tour that allowed us to explore historical sites linked to naval battles, to the top windsurfing spots that appealed to my adventurous spirit, the hotel catered to varied family interests. Our delightful dining experiences, including a tasty lunch after our kayaking adventure, added a culinary thrill that pleased every palate.Although we longed for more comfort in the rooms and quicker breakfast service, the warm and hospitable staff, especially Laura and the attentive restaurant team, truly made our stay memorable. The effort put into organizing beach parties and BBQ nights showcased the hotel's dedication to providing a vibrant family-friendly atmosphere.In conclusion, Tara's Lodge is a welcoming retreat for families seeking a blend of history and natural beauty. Despite some shortcomings, the idyllic location, engaging activities, and attentive staff create a memorable vacation experience that beckons us back for more.
